title pic The Law of Least Effort

Posted by admin on August 3, 2012

Hello My Angel Friends,

Today I will be discussing the fourth law of The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success which is The Law of Least Effort.

“Nature’s intelligence functions with effortless ease… with carefreeness, harmony, and love.  And when we harness the forces of harmony, joy, and love, we create success and good fortune with effortless ease.” – Deepak Chopra

Applying the Law of Least Effort:

I will put the Law of Least Effort into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

1.  I will practice Acceptance.  Today I will accept people, situations, circumstances, and events as they occur.  I will know that this moment is as it should be because the whole universe is as it should be.  I will not struggle against the whole universe by struggling against this moment.  My acceptance is total and complete.  I accept things as they are this moment, not as I wish they were.

2.  Having accepted things as they are, I will take Responsibility for my situation and for all those events I see as problems.  I know that taking responsibility means not blaming anyone or anything for my situation (and this includes myself).  I also know that every problem is an opportunity in disguise, and this alertness to opportunities allows me to take this moment and transform it into a greater benefit.

I have always believed that our biggest challenges in life are our best opportunities to grow and evolve into a stronger and wiser individual.  I have unknowingly utilized the Law of Least Effort over the last six and a half years of my life dealing with cancer.  Cancer for me has been not only the greatest teacher but also the greatest gift in my life.  I have learned more about myself on my journey with cancer.  I now have a much deeper and more profound understanding and appreciation for life itself.

3.  Today my awareness will remain established in defenselessness.  I will relinquish the need to defend my point of view.  I will feel no need to convince or persuade others to accept my point of view.  I will remain open to all points of view and not be rigidly attached to any one of them.

The next time life throws you a curve ball that you don’t see coming.  Stop, take a deep breath and know that you can handle this challenge with the right attitude and unwavering determination.  Instead of looking at the situation as a challenge, change your focus to the opportunities and the life lessons you can learn from it.

Tomorrow I will share the fifth law of Spiritual Success which is the Law of Intention and Desire.  Until then may you have an angelic week!

Many Blessings, ♥ Debbie 🙂

Posted by admin on August 2, 2012

 Hello My Angel Friends,

Today I will be discussing the third law of The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success which is The Law of “Karma” or Cause and Effect.

“Every action generates a force of energy that returns to us in like kind… what we sow is what we reap.  And when we choose actions that bring happiness and success to others, the fruit of our karma is happiness and success.” ~ Deepak Chopra

Applying the Law of “Karma” or Cause and Effect

I will put the Law of Karma into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

1.  Today I witness the choices I make in each moment.  And in the mere witnessing of these choices, I will bring them to my conscious awareness.  I will know that the best way to prepare for any moment in the future is to be fully conscious in the present.

2.  Whenever I make a choice, I will ask myself two questions: “What are the consequences of this choice that I’m making?” and “Will this choice brings fulfillment and happiness to me and also to those who are affected by this choice?”

3.  I will then ask my heart for guidance and be guided by its message of comfort or discomfort.  If the choice feels comfortable, I will plunge ahead with abandon.  If the choice feels uncomfortable, I will pause and see the consequences of my action with my inner vision.  This guidance will enable me to make spontaneous correct choices for myself and for all those around me.

The following story is a life lesson in the Law of Karma.  Several years ago I had let’s say an interesting acquaintance who “creatively” allowed himself in a house that was in foreclosure and helped himself to some things that did not belong to him.  This person was bragging about what he had done and I thought to myself karma is going to bite him in the behind!  It wasn’t even a week later that my prediction was correct.  You see this same person was doing some work on a rental home and he left all his tools in the empty house overnight.  When he returned the next day to finish up his work, someone (AKA: Karma Fairy) had creatively let themselves in and stole all of his tools!  I personally like simplicity.  My thought on karma is:  “Whatever you put out into the Universe always comes back to you.”  It is really that simple.  Do unto others as you wish to be done unto you.

The whole point of Karma is to teach us things we need to learn about.  There are those who believe that karma is what makes up our personalities, our wisdom, and our likes and dislikes of things that we experience in our present life.  There are also those who believe that what we’ve done in our past lives influences where we are and what we do in our current lives.  Whether you believe this is not the point.  Hundreds of millions of people do.

Tomorrow I will be talking about the 4th Spiritual Law of Success which is the “Law of Least Effort.”  Until then create some good Karma!

Many Blessings, ♥ Debbie 🙂

Posted by admin on August 1, 2012

Hello My Angel Friends,

Welcome to the second week of The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success.  This week I will be talking about the second law which is The Law of Giving and Receiving.

“The universe operates through dynamic exchange… giving and receiving are different aspects of the flow of energy in the universe.  And in our willingness to give that which we seek, we keep the abundance of the universe circulating in our lives.” ~ Deepak Chopra

I will put the Law of Giving and receiving into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

Applying the Law of Giving and Receiving:

1.  Wherever I go, and whoever I encounter, I will bring them a gift.  The gift may be a compliment, a flower, or a prayer.  Today, give something to everyone you come into contact with, and so I will begin the process of circulating joy, wealth and affluence in my life and in the lives of others.

A smile is wonderful gift to share with others and it costs nothing.  I challenge you for a day to share a smile with everyone you come into contact with.  I think you will be surprised at how good you feel at the end of the day.

2.  Today I will gratefully receive all the gifts that life has to offer me.  I will receive the gifts of nature: sunlight and the sound of birds singing, or spring showers or the first snow of winter.  I will also be open to receiving from others, whether it is in the form of a material gift, money, a compliment, or a prayer.

I have always struggled with receiving.  I love to give but I’m not a good receiver, until last year when I learned a powerful lesson in giving and receiving.    When I was diagnosed with cancer in 2005, my friends all wanted to help.  They offered to take me to chemotherapy appts. & Dr. appts, clean my house, do laundry for me, do my grocery shopping, anything I needed help with.  Well, I am very independent and stubborn and I would not accept the “gift” of help.

Last year a very dear friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer.  I was devastated when she told me.  She was the kindest, sweetest, most caring person and didn’t deserve this!  I told her I would help her with whatever she needed and I would be happy to go with her to chemo treatments.  Like me, she declined my offers of help and said she would be fine.  Well she wasn’t and within 6 weeks she passed away.  At that moment, I understood how it felt when I would not allow my friends to help me.  All they want to do is share their love by helping me.  I love this quote from Cheryl Richardson “Ask for help. Receiving is an act of generosity.”  If you are only giving or only receiving it creates an unhealthy balance in your life.
3.  I will make a commitment to keep wealth circulating in my life by giving and receiving life’s most precious gifts: the gifts of caring, affection, appreciation, and love.  Each time I meet someone, I will silently wish them happiness, joy and laughter.

When I am standing in a long checkout line at the store, I like to silently send blessings of unconditional love, good health and prosperity to the people around me.  When I’m driving and stuck in traffic or stopped at long traffic light I like to envision everyone surrounded in the white light of guidance and the blue light of protection.  It’s a great way to make the time go faster.

Tomorrow I will be talking about the third Spiritual Law of Success which is the Law of Karma.  Until then consciously work on  giving and receiving.  Wishing you much success!

Many Blessings, ♥ Debbie 🙂

title pic The Law of Pure Potential

Posted by admin on July 29, 2012

Hello My Angel Friends,

Recently, I have been focusing on creating success in my life personally and professionally.  I use affirmations daily and have just started working on some vision boards.  I love how when we put out into the Universe what we want to attract, (Law of Attraction) the Universe conspires to help us.

I just went to the library to look for a book that I have wanted to read.  Interestingly enough, the book I wanted wasn’t there even though the library said it should be.  Instead, what I found in its place was a DVD on “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success.”  Well I knew this was a sign from the Universe because it was exactly where the book I was looking for should have been, and it’s a DVD!  It’s not supposed to be in the book section.

I watched the DVD and thought this would be a great series to share with all my angel friends.  Heck, who doesn’t want to create more success in their life?  Today I will be sharing “The Law of Pure Potential” with you.

“The source of all creation is pure consciousness… pure potentiality seeking expression from the unmanifest to the manifest.  And when we realize that our true Self is one of pure potentiality, we align with the power that manifests everything in the universe.” ~ Deepak Chopra

Applying The Law of Pure Potentiality

You can put the Law of Pure Potentiality into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

1.   I will get in touch with the field of pure potentiality by taking time each day to be silent, to just Be.  I will also sit alone in silent meditation at least twice a day for approximately thirty minutes in the morning and thirty minutes in the evening.  Okay don’t freak out on me yet. I already know what you’re thinking.  Thirty minutes twice a day!  Just try starting out with ten minutes a day and then you can work your way up to thirty minutes.

2.    I will take time each day to commune with nature and to silently witness the intelligence within  every living thing.  I will sit silently and watch a sunset, or listen to the sound of the ocean or a stream, or simply smell the scent of a flower.  In the ecstasy of my own silence, and by communing with nature, I will enjoy life, the field of pure potentiality and the unbounded creativity. I have been sitting outside in the morning listening to the birds chirping and watching the hummingbirds fly around.  They are so beautiful and fun to watch.  At night when I take my dogs out for the last good night potty call, I marvel at how amazing the stars truly are.

3.  I will practice non-judgment.  I will begin my day with the statement, “Today, I shall judge nothing that occurs,” and throughout the day I will remind myself not to judge.   I know you’re already thinking that this is easier said than done.  Give it a try.  I think you will be amazed at how much we all judge in our daily lives.  I am definitely going to try working on improving this in my own life.

If you choose to make the conscious choice to start applying the Seven Spiritual Laws of Success in your own life.  I would love to hear how you’re doing.  Please feel free to share your successes or any challenges you may encounter.  The next Spiritual Law of Success I will be talking about is “The Law of Giving and Receiving” and let me tell you this is one of the life lessons I struggle with. Until then I wish you much success in your life!

Many Blessings, ♥ Debbie 🙂

title pic How do we know when angels are around us?

Posted by admin on April 4, 2012

This is an often asked angel question:  “How do we know when angels are around us, if they’re invisible?”  That is a great question.  Angelic energy is subtle and delicate, and can be easily missed if you don’t know what signs to look for.

Here are a some signs to pay attention to.

  • It may be as faint as the sound of a distant brook or a sudden, unexplained trembling or rustling of leaves.
  • You feel chills or goose bumps when you are not cold.
  • You may feel a tickling sensations anywhere on your body or in your hair.
  • You hear the sound of singing or music when no one is around.
  • You might smell flowers or wonderful fragrances with no obvious source.
  • An animal or bird may approach you with a loving attitude.
  • Often, an unexplainable feeling of peace, joy and tranquillity comes over you, particularly in times of sadness or stress.
  • Or you might laugh or feel euphoric for absolutely no reason at all.

Now that you know the signs you can pay close attention for the presence of your angels.
May you have an Angelic day!   Many Blessings ♥ Debbie

title pic How to Ground Yourself

Posted by admin on April 3, 2012

I recently received an email wanting to know how to ground yourself.  For myself I prefer to stand outside in the grass in my bare feet or sit outside on the ground.  Either way I instantly feel grounded.  There is some great advice about the important of grounding yourself for increasing your intuitive success in “Connecting with Your Angels” by Cecily Channer and Damon Brown.  They also talk about some other techniques for grounding yourself that I thought I would share with you.

To successfully use your intuitive ability, we must learn the practice of grounding.  Contrart to some beliefs, intuition does not call for us to be flighty or illogical; in fact, just the opposite is true.  In grounded state we are centered, stable, and balanced.  Additionally, when we learn to ground ourselves, we are better able to focus and be in control of our energy.  When we are crabby, spacey, flaky, overemotional, or scattered, you can be sure we are in need of grounding.  An ungrounded person is often too distracted to pick up on intuitive signals that he or she is receiving.

There are two powerful ways to get grounded.  One way to feel grounded instantly is to hold a large, smooth rock in both hands.  Another way is to do a tree meditation.  First, stand up straight and tall.  Make believe that you are a tree and visualize that your branches extend way up into the sky as high as you can imagine.  Next, imagine that your roots are buried deep, deep within the core of the earth.  You are now grounded and energetically connected to the earth and the Universe.

My final advise for grounding yourself would be to use what ever technique feels most comfortable to you.  Many Blessings, ♥ Debbie

title pic Angel Mantra for Deceased Loved Ones

Posted by admin on April 2, 2012

Over the last several months I have been receiving a lot of emails from people who have recently had a loved one cross over to the other side.  I just happen to come across this book called “Calling all Angels” by Joyce Keller at the bookstore.  In the book there is a section that dedicated to different Angel Mantras for particular situations.  These mantras address problems and concerns that effect everyone.  Each mantra includes recommendations that follow the seven methods for opening yourself to angelic assistance by Joyce Keller.  So I thought I would share the mantra for “Deceased Loved Ones”.

For Deceased Loved Ones

Angels of Heaven
Angels of the Sun
Watch over {name}
Cradle my loved one

Recommendations for receiving protection and guidance for a deceased loved one:

PRAYER:  As you pray, burn a white candle for your loved one.  Ask that they be surrounded with the highest, brightest white light in God’s Universe.  Send “lovegrams” or heartfelt messages of love and support.  If possible, have a photo of your loved one nearby.

MANTRA:  Use this mantra whenever you feel sad, or feel the need to make contact with your loved one.

MEDITATION:  In meditation, try to see your departed loved one surrounded by the brightst, strongest white light you can visualize.  This always helps to light the path.

ATTITUDE:  Maintain an attitude of support and love, greif might keep your loved one from escalating in the postdeath experience.  Such an attitude in not always easy, but it is important:  Your sadness will almost always be shared by your departed loved ones, which is not in their best interest.

ATMOSPHERE:  Burn white candles which are perceived in the spirit world as messages of love and support for your deceased loved ones.  In addition, burn patchouli incense alongside their photo to send love and support.

SUBSTANCE:  Aromatherapy fragrances that help people on both sides of the veil include angelica and sweet dreams.

CRYSTALS & GEMS:  Carry a clear crystal if you wish to send messages of love to those who are deceased.  A quartz crystal can project as well as absorb energy.

I hope this mantra provides you with a sense of peace and comfort.  I will also be posting a mantra for “Help in Times of Mourning” in the near future.

Many Blessings ♥ Debbie

title pic Feathers from Angels

Posted by admin on October 23, 2011

Lately I have been getting a lot of questions from people finding feathers and asking if they have a significant meaning?

For me personally, feathers are like an angel’s calling card that they leave for me.  Feathers are a reminder and a comforting confirmation that the angels are listening to me regarding a question or situation I was asking them for help with.  Even though feathers come in all different sizes and colors, they’re amazing signs because they’re directly connected with a thought, prayer, or question that you had in mind.  Next time you find a feather, stop and become aware of what you were just thinking.  Rarely will you find one left by the angels without knowing what it means.  Either you’ll come across it while thinking about something or you’ll immediately sense the association upon finding it.

The following is a sad but beautiful story from my friend Karen about how feathers can be validation.

I had to put my beloved dog Moose down yesterday.  While we were waiting at the Humane Society for the paperwork to be processed, I squatted down to pet my baby and tell him I love him.  There was a feather, inside, by my feet.  It made me cry.  Then another one when we got home and were taking care of his personal possessions (squeaky toy, bed, etc.), and I told my husband about the feathers.  A little bit later, I was cleaning the kitchen and my husband was outside and knocked on the window and showed me a feather.  This one was black, and he was a Black Lab.  Deep sigh.  I know it was the right thing to do, but kind of fun to “see” confirmation in that way!

The angels also leave us feathers in unusual places as a sign of their presence, probably because most people associate feathers with angel wings.  As you will see in this next story from my sweet friend Emma, who collects feathers.

I was just reading on your website about angel signs. You said that feathers are a sign. I collect feathers by the way.  Anyway, I told my Mom this because today we saw a feather that was standing upward in the rocks.  I pointed it out, and we thought it was weird. Then, later, there was the biggest, prettiest feather I have ever seen in the middle of my hallway that my Mom found, and thought that it was mine, so she put it on the dresser. I asked her where that came from, and she said that she just found it in the hallway. What do you think?

Yes, Emma I do think it was from an angel.  Please feel free to share your angel feathers stories.  I would love to hear all about them.

Have a Heavenly Day My Angel Friends!  ♥ Debbie

title pic Message from the Wise Ones ~ Oct. 15, 2011

Posted by admin on October 16, 2011

This morning I was doing some automatic writing on a question for myself that is surrounded around fear.  When I was finished I asked the Wise Ones who I receive my Divine guidance from, if they had a message that they would like to share with you.  The following is what I received:

Not only do you feel the fear and let the vibration in your energy field, but others are at a heightened state of fear due to the changes taking place in this world right now.
People choose to fear changes.
The world and life are always evolving.
Change is a good thing. Otherwise things become stagnate.
It is with change that people evolve and grow as individuals.
Open your heart and your mind to options and change.
You will be surprised at the amazing things that can unfold in front of your very eyes.
There is a lot of negative energy that people hold onto associating it with change.
Change can fill your life with peace, love and hope.
Be willing to try new directions.
May you fly free.
We leave you surrounded in the white light of guidance and the blue light of protection.
May you step forward and free yourself.

Hope you enjoyed the message.  Many Blessings, ♥ Debbie
